My name is Jed van Wieringen. I was surprised to find a website on Jeds as it is an unusual name. 

My parents named me Jed as it was very short. My last name is a bit of a  mouthful as my 
Dads heritage is Dutch,  that is why I was called Jed. I get sick of people asking if it's short for Jedidiah 
and I get payed  out on because I hate it so much. I am married with a son who is 5 and 
I live in Kilcoy, Queensland, Australia. 

I work just down the road at the local Abbatoirs and I really enjoy my job.
