My name is Jed Torres; Filipino by birth but grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.

Serenaded incessantly from childhood to the present (I'm presently 41!) with
"The Beverly Hillbillies" theme song that I can recite it front & back in my sleep!  

Rumour has it my name is an acronym for "Jane Ever Dearest" (Jane's 
my mom's name). Fortunately, the youngun's haven't heard of the Beverly 
Hillbillies; they now think my name's cool!
