full name: Jedston Gilbert Simpson

My parents say that they liked the name Jed, didn't like Jedediah but wanted me to have a longer professional name for my future. So they made up Jedston. How nice it is to have a unique version of an uncommon name! My last name gets more reaction than my first name. Everyone has some remark about Bart or Homer Simpson.

Telemarketers ask for "jed-son" when they call, so they're a dead give away every time. I do have to spell it for anyone who's taking my information down. 

I am currently 28 years old. I am a professional firefighter for The City Of Nampa, Idaho. I also own my own business selling & installing kitchen cabinets.
