I became a Jed almost twenty years ago when a fellow 
band-mate christened me so. It irked at first but... we all know 
what has happened since. I love the name, especially for a 
rock-star moniker: simple, powerful and straight to the 
point. You can keep your Sebastians and Aloysiuses, your 
Peters and Michaels.
