Jed Horne

I have a good story about my name.  My father's name is really Frederick, but his parents wanted to name him Jed.  They decided to compromise: his birth certificate says Frederick Horne, but they never bothered to tell him and always called him Jed.  He didn't realize what his real name was until he got to Kindergarten.  My parents named me Jedidiah, and, I swear to god, they never thought that anyone would call me Jed.  It got to be a problem growing up when my friends would call and ask for Jed.
