| My name is Jed, I was born in Beaumont Texas and now live in San Antonio, Texas. I
was given the name Jed when I was born so it is not a nickname or short
for anything. I am always asked what Jed is short for or what is
my
real name, I just tell them "It's just Jed".
Every time I
tell someone my name is Jed they either ask me my name again or they
call me Jeff, Chet, Chad or another name, I think they can't believe
that someone would actually name me Jed.
I knew there were
other Jed's out there but I did not meet another Jed until I was 45
years old and it turns out this other Jed lives just down the block and
not to long after that my wife meet another Jed that works at a full
service car wash about 1/2 a mile from our house.
I have always liked the name Jed and we gave our first son
the middle name Jed to keep the name alive in the family. Jed Deloney
