Thought I'd shoot you a quick note. My name is also Jed,  Just moved to 
Northern CA. from NY City Love it out here, been down to L. A many times good 
friend lives there and I was taking class at AFI. I also have an interest in film Production. 

Just wanted to tell you my name comes Joseph Edward  We had 
many Joseph's in my family. My mother said if it's a boy he will be called Jed.

I didn't  like the name when I was young But I do like it now. 
It's funny we went from Uncle Jed from the (Beverly Hillbillies) to Jed, President 
of The U.S.A.(west wing)
